Class Schedule

Studio D is currently enrolling for private lessons only. A minimum of 6 weekly, consecutive private lessons is required.

Private Lessons for anyone age 8 and up are available in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and contemporary. If you would like to inquire about this opportunity please contact us.

Studio D is a cumulative academy of dance. Our curriculum uses each weekly class to build technique, skill, and choreography, therefore, it is not a drop-in program.  Initial enrollment and tuition are ongoing until you submit written notice of withdrawal. For existing students, withdrawals can be made at the end of the fall semester, at the end of the spring semester, and at the end of the summer semester, (before the next semester begins) with no penalty.  We automatically process monthly credit/debit card payments until your semester balance is paid in full.  There is a $25 fee for declined charges.

In addition to tuition:

  • There is a $60 non-refundable annual registration fee for all students. Enrollment may be canceled up to 7 days after the date of the first class with no penalty, after 7 days there is a $175 termination fee.

  • Studio D has a performance every spring. Therefore, if you are enrolled in the spring, there is also a performance fee (per family) and costume fee (per costume) if you are going to participate in the performance. Once these fees have been assessed they are not refundable.

My Daughter has taken ballet/tap classes at three different places in Boulder. She has stayed the longest at Studio D. She loves it at Studio D because it’s fun. She loves the scarves, the feather boas, and the disco ball they routinely use in their classes. As a parent, I find that Studio D is a beautiful place to take a class. It’s very calm there. I also love that you can watch and hear the class through a one-way mirror. My daughter will keep taking classes here as long as she likes ballet/tap.
